What is the utilization requirement or yearly hours required for manager/senior managers in tax group at EY?

What is the target utilization for a Senior 2? Or number of chargeable hours goal? Is this ever hard to meet?

I think hospitals would benefit tremendously from hiring designers to help facilitate better space utilization, communication, etc.

hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? My target promotion year on TOD is 2022. My manager said we might sell to client and extend this project in September but nothing guaranteed.

Hello, I am looking to make a career change that starts at a minimum 75K salary. The economy is tough right now and I can no longer afford to stay in my current role. I have a Deloitte PDM offer. I’ve read about the positives/negatives and I’m so torn. When my recruiter says I’ll have “144 hours” of PTO (18 days), will I definitely still run into the utilization trap of not being able to take it? Are all projects 40-42 hr weekly caps? Had a really bad day 😞 I don’t know why I keep doing this to myself. Things will be going well and then out of nowhere I get blackout drunk. I am tired of feeling sick and anxious from drinking. Quarter life crisis: was in B4 audit for 4 years and took a financial reporting role in industry. It pays well, but kinda want to get into TAS. If I were to go into TAS could I be a senior 2-3?

Anyone else feel like that if they aren’t doing the work themselves then it’s never done correctly? Doesn’t matter what it is - admin to client work - always materially incorrect. Got hired 3 years ago- newly created staff accountant role with the plan that it’ll go into a senior and then manager role. 1.5 years in I get a title promotion to senior, told I’ll get more duties, start supervising AP, and get monetary promotion to match next year. Got way more work, but nothing else promised within that year. Told next money bump would be manager role (no raise for senior still) and I need to take on more and start supervising AP. Again, seeing nothing…time to leave?
