My job asked me to increase my work load without promotion. How do I ask for more money or politely decline? I do a lot already and they are refusing to promote me and I’m sick of it. I’m amazing at what I do and I have been with them since they opened.

How do you handle when you get offered a surprise raise but it’s lower than what you would have asked for yourself? I wouldn’t want to come off ungrateful but I also don’t want to accept less than my value. I have had this happen to me many years ago and I didn’t negotiate. I was promoted to manager in Jan but received an offer with a 35% salary increase and much cheaper health insurance outside the firm. Hi everyone! With an internal promotion to manager I am wondering if the salary raise is negotiable? I know a few managers on the team hired in at 110-120 thousand but have also heard I can expect a 5% raise or less moving up internally, which would put me around 25% below that.
