MSFT or AWS? As Tech Pre Sales and why?
Wow. McKinsey, which has the biggest public sector presence of the MBB, really hasn't been doing too hot at all in the sector.
Its presence is tiny and it's gotten even smaller. Meanwhile it's bungling whatever opportunities it's getting.

Why do you think you can’t exit to big tech right away?
Depends. What you want to do when you move, what is your career path, how many yoe career wise not just job wise, location, and other factors like family, remuneration level, rent/mortgage, COL.
You can get lots of opinions, from many people's perspectives, that are nothing like your situation.
If you've not done much in your career, staying in consulting can give you breadth of industry experience quickly without all the job changing issues. If you're looking to do a career long term in a single industry, leave consulting.
Then it's the type of job you want, the level of seniority you want to come in at, and all those other life factors.
Since you are with Deloitte, go ahead and join MBB. After spending few years there, you can decide.

Why did you start with “since you are with Deloitte?” Do you see this progression work well together for exiting to big tech?
Which ever role got me to my target exit the quickest.
What are you shooting for?
If you are going for tech, I’m not sure MBB experience is worth it’s ROI. I’m joining FAANG soon and I’ve seen a wide range of consulting firms represented, definitely not an MBB only place
