Hi Folks,
I have about three of experience as incident manager in operations, and I wish to move into devops, and i technically trying to upskilling me on the same.
I personally don't have a mentor to discuss this topic, so I like to know from you the below.
Right now, I have a decent offer for the role of Major Incident Manager, but how much CTC can be demanded as I am moving from non tech to techincal role.
Silly question but, do devops engineer required to work in rotational shifts?.
In EY, it’s equivalent to senior manager, but for non client facing roles. So I think it’s your director level
As per the recruiter, this is supposed to be a client executive which involves account development & growth strategy. Primarily a client facing role in Advisory.
It's still considered Core Business Service (internal) if the title is AD. If it's a business development role it could be client facing but it's not a consulting role. it's the equivalent of Senior Manager for EY
As far as career progression goes, it’s equivalent to SM. Pay scale is more like advisory Manager though
Thanks for the insight. How hard is it to be a direct hire at the AD level in EY? I am a SM in Deloitte, seems like this move will be a step down in career. Not sure whether EY hires Directors from market; ED hire may be a better career move.
