Help me understand something fundamental about altcoins. I got this invite shortly after. The place I’m interviewing at the job wouldn’t start til next year. I dont want to seem like a job hopper. Do i tell them I’m at a new role or just not bring it up? The acquisition was public so they can see Im no longer employed with the most recent work history on my resume

Is it just me or do 90% of the jobs being laid off by big tech sound made up? Many job descriptions with multiple bullet points that all kinda revolve around the same idea. One of my buddies works for a big IT company and literally just sits on meetings all day. No one really contributing to anything other than agreeing to whatever the speaker is saying. Are these kind of jobs finally being exposed? Six figure employees getting paid to sit and bounce ideas off each other?

I work with a junior PM who is not performing. Not my report, we share a mgr, but as a senior PM I lead the product. He can’t finish anything, needs a lot of coaching, I give him 2h/wk but I can’t afford more.
After 2mos I raised it to our mgr who promised to work with him. 2 more mos passed, mgr talked to him only once, no change in perf. I think mgr doesn’t want to deal with the problem. Now they ask if I want to manage JPM. It is going to be a ‘no’ but I want to ask some advice on all this.
