Hi all, Next week, my interview was scheduled in Salesforce triage support engineer role. I have some doubt please clarify me! 1. What are the questions for triage support engineer? 2. What they will prefer? 3. How do I prefer for my interview? 4. What is the salary package for this role? I have three years experience. Please guide me!
Anyone got recruited for Pune location recently? My interview process has been completed and asked for documents on 23rd Dec, but till now I haven’t got any update after that. Today i called HR and they said manager has not provided any update on my application. Should i wait for the offer letter or look opportunity in another organisation? Deloitte Deloitte India
Anyone from EYP…I’m applying to “Strategy & Transactions Working Capital Consultant/Senior”. I have the experience, six sigma, PMP etc stated in the description. How can I proactively position myself to earn the interview? I’m afraid I might get auto rejected because I have way more than 2 years experience, but I know industry experience is weighted different. Appreciate any help, insight, or anyone willing to chat. I was once flown to another city for an interview. When I arrived, no one knew I was coming but the HR person. The Creative Director didn’t even know who I was. I spent the day in a conference room waiting while they scrambled to see who could interview me. It was a HUGE waste of my time and it left me feeling like they were doomed for failure if you can’t even keep track of something as simple as a hiring process. That agency went bankrupt and closed two years later. Advice: if something feels bad and/or looks bad, run!
Let’s see...went in to chat with a GCD about a role. GCD had quickly mentioned in passing that he was tired and that his day was looking to be crazy.
Anyway, we continue to his office as he reviews my online portfolio and asks the old/tired question, “tell me about yourself?” So I start to rattle off my answer and within 10 seconds see his eyes start to close. I pause and ask “you alright?” He replies with his eyes still closed that he’s listening and to resume. Feeling a bit weird but want to believe him, I continue on. Then as I’m speaking can now hear him start breathing deeply which was then followed by light snoring. I stop and wonder to myself that this definitely weird. Then think, “am I being plunked?”
I blurt out and say “let’s reschedule, we can chat when it’s a better time.” He wakes up and apologizes profusely and says “please, please ...I’m all ears. Please continue.” Now, I’m debating to myself should I really continue or should I just bail when this a-hole falls asleep again? But ultimately decide to start going over my experience and he gets up from his office chair and now says, “I’ll listen better from down here” as he lays down on his carpeted office floor. I’m dumbstruck to his unprofessionalism and walk out. His assistant sees me walking out and says “that was quick!” And I mention he fell asleep and she apologizes and asks to reschedule. I say whatever and walk out. They called me shortly after but I never reschedule as I believe everything happens for a reason. Find out a bit later that agency had fired him for finally seeing his incompetence. I could of told them that after the few minutes that I saw him snoring.

Clockout!1 You win this thread 😂🤣
Was interviewing with a CCO at a well known NYC agency. His first question was “why are u here again?” Not in the “why are u looking way?” He had no idea what role I was interviewing for and clearly was unprepared to even speak with me. He then spent most of the interview recounting a story of how he was hit by a car the previous day and that his leg hurts.
had a similar experience interviewing for an internship and the cco was confused af, offered to give me a CD position...?? Then his secretary had to remind him that i was there for an internship..
Small sample size but I've been at 2 places where 'kool aid' was mentioned. Won't be making that mistake a 3rd time :)
For me it’s the word “scrappy” which is clearly code for “do your job plus other jobs and basically expect to be overworked on low budget projects.”
When they didn’t ask to see my book. Then I knew the work didn’t matter.
Don’t many people look at your book before?
“Our department isn’t for most people and is staffed on the younger side who have the best intent. How thick of a skin do you have? I mean you can always come to me”
Anomaly haha?
When I asked HR about the number of holidays and she said something like “you get XX amout of days, but we never get to use all”. Lol
At least she was honest
Met a candidate in LA who was great over the phone but in person she was a mess. No eye contact. Fiddled around. Didn’t seem comfortable with her outfit.
I can’t believe you passed up on an awesome hire because she was fidgeting...also which FCB do you work at because eye contact and being confident are clearly not hiring criteria at my office 😂😂😂😂
CEO apropos of nothing saying “financially we’re doing great. Lots of new business on the horizon.”
...agency closed 12 months later.
Interviewer told me 60 hour weeks were standard, and crunch hours were 80+. Sorry; if that's where you're at you don't know what you're doing.
Interviewed at we are unlimited? 😂
“I don’t know if there are politics in our agency. I just know I’ve been here 23 years and I’ll still be here when you leave too...”
They offered a job and never discussed salary or role expectations.
(Another life) this photographer who was hiring an assistant kept telling me “you know most women do better as stylists”. I stopped the interview and left.
I have a spot with a 3-D, realistically rendered animated character in my book- “did you draw this”? Well duh, I concepted it and gave the 3-D animator references and worked with them to create the character, but no, I did not “draw it” . As much as I wish I was a bomb ass 3D illustrator, I’m an ACD. And I’m interviewing for an ACD position. 😐
The CD interviewing stared at my chest area the ENTIRE time.
gross. sorry you had to deal with that.
Ecd was responding to emails on her phone during interview. I kept pausing and saying I'll wait then she would apologize and say to continue. Finally got through the interview and thought to myself "def not working there or with her ever."
A company that sends you an automated, impersonal text message that they want to interview you, just sign up here on our online form...
Wasn't obvious to me at the time but interviewing for a Director role. Only other Director in department had been there 6 months. Then it was hiring manager and supervisor and randos from other departments in interview.
Hated the place, issues with people running the department. In hindsight it was a huge red flag that the only director they had was new.
Lesson learned!
The interview was in a room with all the lights off and only two existing employees were dating
Got a new one: internal recruiters that use a ton of "!!!!" about wanting to interview you. Then they never respond to emails, and when they do -- they obviously never read your response(s) about scheduling.
Just saying, there's a cable channel hiring at a break neck pace right now.
Avoid it.
Social skills. If you can’t look at me and have to awkward laugh at everything you say and end every sentence with a question mark then I have no confidence they can present to a Sr team member let alone a client.
Also with work, if they show a full big campaign but they only designed a logo or some social posts for it.
