PwC really doesn't have a culture - the firm was has done so many acquisitions that each group / practice has a different culture and style
Douchey and political. Gotta suck the right dicks and kiss the right asses.
Because everyone likes to pretend it's great but really it's full of misogynistic, backstabbing, and they all kinda hate each other!
Which is why we sometimes like to bitch about it, but frankly, I like most of the people I meet. When I have complaints, it's about the system, nor the people, 95% of the time
People at PwC are some of the most down to earth I've met in consulting. However, it's still consulting, so it has its times when its political, and people can be really competitive. It really varies by practice and location.
I'm ex PwC. The hit are great but hit or miss. Very fief like and wholly dependent on your partners to set the culture. There's probably also an ongoing identify crisis of legacy bearing point vs prtm vs diamond vs Booz & co cultures clashing
Not trying to be mean but it could be bc so many pwc were laid off last spring
Everyone hate their own company lol
^yeah that too.
Don't hate my company. We sometimes are political but by and large it's great about policies affecting its people
*not the people
Idk I don't really hate K but getting pursued by P and want to get a feel for the culture
Culture is one of elitism based on smoke and mirrors. You have people whose opinions and skills dont tie back to bottom line results. When someone comes in and tries to fix that...the elite pricks ask them how dare they want to change a company with a 180 year history.
* the hit = the people
