I have received offer from Qualcomm. They haven't mentioned about relocation bonus or accommodation in the offer letter. I have tried reaching the hr since the next day of hr round but they haven't responded to my calls or mails. Any advice on how to get accommodation and relocation bonus. Or is it not possible anymore? FYI I'm in city x and the offered position is in city y of another state.
Update :
After several follow ups Hr have agreed they will give the relocation bonus and reimbursement

I heard D over hired too for similar reasons
Layoffs? News to me. What service line/levels? Our service line bench is tapped out at the moment
Well EY has (had?) this somewhat outrageous goal of being a $50B firm by 2020. It's a $30B firm now so to say that was a stretch is being kind. Don't get me wrong, the growth has been very good, just not the crazy number that was dreamed up. My own practice grew 50% or something and people were all upset because it didn't grow 65%. There's also the small matter (lol) of keeping things organized while being so aggressive and bullish on growth.
What layoffs? We can't hire enough. Open project roles galore.
P2....there were multiple rounds of layoffs last year...it might be good practice management, but to say there were no layoffs last year is disingenuous...everyone was talking about them
Most Big Four have had some from what I've heard.
Another round of layoffs?
Is that normal though?
There have been some layoffs around EY too, mostly trimming underperformers, but probably a little more emphasis on it because there was a seemingly ridiculous amount of hiring ahead of demand the last year or two to accommodate some unrealistic revenue targets. It ebbs and flows, I suppose.

There are no 'layoffs' at PwC. It's normal practice/ talent management. Deloitte has had a hard year at the Profit/Partner or so I'm told...
