Hi guys,
Need help,I am joining VMware Banglore on 27th June. During interview I told them I need wfh. They said it wil be wfh this entire year. Only mistake I did was i didn't permanent wfh. I took for granted like once I join i can opt for it ( as my VMware friends had said we can opt for it)
Now the offices have started, I am scared if they call me to office , I have 14months son, not willing to leave him n go for office.
So if I ask manager to give me permanent wfh will they agree ?

I’d use the cover letter to call it out. Resumes that aren’t chronological get very confusing (for me as a hiring manager, at least).
No, just order the bullets that are most relevant at the top. Also I don’t know a single company that still reads cover letters.
You can. It’s called a functional resume as opposed to a chronological resume. As long as there’s a header that clearly labels each function you’re fine. A great option is the functional/chronological hybrid resume. Google it. Also, look up the Human Voiced Resume. The lady that coined the concept (although I’m sure she’s not the 1st to think of the concept), Liz Ryan, is a genius, and I followed her resume writing guidelines when applying to my current job. I can’t garuntee anyone read my it b/c I was referred to the job, but it’s the best I’ve ever felt submitting a resume bc if someone did read it they’d not only be wow’d by my experience, perhaps, but also by how incredibly refreshing it was to read about it!
It depends. How many positions ago? And is the new job a change or a bit of a turn from what you've been doing in last several years or? How long would it take a recruiter to get to the relevant experience? People scan name, positions/companies, education - the 3-5 second rule. If you're making some sort of a non linear transition, then you can first have a section called Relevant Experience and put all that there, followed by Additional Experience with rest of select positions that are still meaningful but less directly relevant. There are many strategies for organizing a resume, it's a full on IA mini project based on objectives.
