When I was told I would be receiving a promotion and raise during my annual review but instead am told that there's going to be layoffs and I'm one of them.

Does anyone from EY have insight on layoffs? I'm seeing horror stories from other firms but haven't heard anything about EY layoffs. (Manager, FSO-Advisory-Risk)

If we are billable on project in nagarro do we need to worry about recession for now .

What is nagarro planning how to handle recession:
Lay offs or salary cut or stop increment.

Have a big interview tomorrow. The question I dread the most is about why you’re looking for a new job. The honest answer is that there isn’t enough work to go around at my agency and I want to get ahead of the inevitable layoffs. What’s the best way to tell them this? Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .

I really need to know. Does anyone genuinely care about their jobs anymore? Money aside.
