How much Tax Analyst earn in EY?
I’m currently working in Citi as an AVP in Mumbai for the past 9 months.. due to personal reasons I wanted to move back to Pune (I have worked in Pune for last 8 years before coming to Citi) so I landed up with an offer from HSBC into Wholesale IT (GCB5).
My current Fixed CTC in Citi is 26.5 excluding PF and Retrials and HSBC IT has offered me 30.5 for the same and said they cannot increase further as am moving jobs in after 9 months which is too early..

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

San Francisco rent prices aren’t as bad as they were pre-covid. Lots of nature close by as well
@technical architect. Life can be cruel. My wife developed a mental illness after knowing her for 12 years. Blew most of my money. I took a step down role from my 140k job to deal with everything.
Don’t shit on others when they’re down, you never know what your future holds.

Charlotte is nice and mcol
I lived there for many years. Nice place, good weather, enough to do to keep you occupied, centrally located between mountains and beach. Housing market not incredibly insane, but certainly bubblier than it used to be.
Nature / fitness sounds like Denver
Great idea!
Why not bop around to different cities for the next 6 months until you find a city or place that you truly like. Airbnb for a few weeks or a month in each city. Take care of yourself OP!
South for some warm weather! Maybe Texas? Nashville? Not sure cost of living but prob cheaper than west coast.

Just based on what I’m reading, do Seattle
Rising Star
If increasing pay then yes, otherwise the surrounding Seattle area and dating scene is great for socially competent single guys.
Given cost of living though it’s a fair concern so Tacoma or Bellingham in that area may offer better value.
Los Angeles
Move to Miami, have some fun

Denver is great. Lakes, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing. I love Boulder but it’s more expensive than other areas and has a homelessness issue. Lots of nice areas all over the metro area. And it’s a moderate blue state if that matters to you.
Move to Thailand and find you yourself a nice local
Van life and explore the US
I love the digital nomad idea someone else suggested. Rent the cheapest apartment you can so you have a homebase when you need it and strike out to a few cheaper airbnbs across the country in places you’re considering.
Miami or NYC
With that salary, somewhere south is the best bet. Maybe Houston or Austin?
I’ll probably rent first year anyway, but you’re right, long term I probably missed the boat.
SF!! Change of pace, scene, job and community! Hugs OP! Better days are coming!
Denver.
Good luck buddy. You got this!
Ashville, Atlanta, Spokane, Bozeman, Portland etc are great places. Relatively economical and have plenty of things to do outdoors
Puerto Rico? Keep wayyy more of your salary, too thanks to tax laws
Colorado or Utah both offer year round outdoor activities and equally as beautiful in the winter as the summer.
Great idea
