Who here has a standing desk? Worth it?

Should I buy a $500+ standing desk? Company not giving clarity on when WFH is ending, but I’m done sitting at my kitchen bar 15 hours a day. Is the investment worth?

Just spitballing here, but some businesses are choosing to stay closed because it is cost prohibitive to comply with guidelines. So my thought is, why not a tax credit for PPE/plexiglass barriers/whatever other items might not be necessary to satisfy guidelines? Maybe a more generous home office deduction? Not in lieu of anything else, but to the extent the tax code is used to incentivize and disincentivize certain behaviors, I think these could be beneficial. Thoughts?

Just got notified I was selected in the second round of H1B picks. I received word I wasn't picked in the first round and my OPT time limit was reached at the end of July, so was transferred to the London office and started a new team from Aug 1st. Obviously had no idea I would subsequently be selected....will the fact that I am now part of a different team from the one my application was initially applied for with make me ineligible???
