I do. Sous Vide is your friend! Sous Vide a thing of chicken breasts, pot of rice, pot of pasta. roast/air fry some veggies. mix and match sauces as I go during the week (BBQ, salsa, marinara for the pasta, soy/ginger, more BBQ, etc). Once the chicken is cooked, I can do 4 days worth of meals in under an hour.
A few things. I’m a big dude who lifts a lot and eats a lot. Probably a higher carb ratio than most people.
yes - I know I need to get glass containers.
should really only do 3-4 days at a time and then freeze it.
These travel and microwave super well.

The Cookie VP 🤣. I am
I do every week. I make sure whatever I make has protein, 2-3 vegetables, and a carb source. Can either be a dish or roasted chicken thighs, roasted veg, and some basic rice/potatoes. Baking/roasting and one pot meals help a lot w saving time

1) agree with sous vide. Much easier way to prepare your proteins.
2) I make a lot of lentils. Easy to cook and store.
3) sheet pan veggies are easy to make. I’ll make enough to last about 3 days and then make another batch.
4) I also prep sweet and salty snacks. Plenty of fruit that’s portioned out and put into their own containers. Same for salty snacks like nuts and veggie chips. Better than just having the bag in front of you.
I live in the south, so I grill out/smoke stuff every Sunday for the week. Usually do chicken thighs, pork chops, lean hamburger patties as proteins, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, etc as sides.
Usually meal prep most of my lunches for the weekdays on Sundays. I like to keep it simple with things like:
1) big batch of soup in the slow cooker
2) simple salads (roast chicken and veggies on Sunday then warm up individual portions at lunch and put on top of salad greens and dressing)
3) protein box (chicken, cheese, hummus and baby carrots, for example)
Breakfast and dinner are usually made fresh each day.
Or you could outsource to a meal prep service like https://projectleannation.com to get ideas on what you like. After a few weeks of a service you could then recreate your favorites at home if you’d rather cook from scratch than pay the premium for the service.
