That’s not low at all considering all the firms out there. Different sizes, prestige levels, clients, etc
I made $102k base at EY as a Senior 2. This was after 10 years of experience outside consulting. Made $124k when promoted to manager. Not as sexy for the amount of work I was putting in. So I left for more money in industry.
EY2 - the money made it an easy decision to leave. No brainer. But, I do miss some parts of consulting.
I make 97k as a Senior Consultant up for manager this year
Brah. That’s not low..
Who cares
4 years exp in Salesforce, at a small/startup sized firm, 100k+ 10% bonus, pretty close for me
That’s my salary lol
this includes all senior consultants, from tax, assurance etc. is not a low salary, a friend got paid 80k as a SC3 in EYP just because he came from South America. Later he got promoted to M where he now makes around 110K
Some other lines make less than consultants, in my country, Assurance and Risk make much much more than Consulting, where M3s are getting around 100k in consulting vs 130k in risk or assurance
There's also often a pay differential between public sector work and commercial work that glassdoor is probably trying to cover with this spread. When I was an SC in the public sector I made between 85 and 100
It depends if you are an MBA hire. MBA hires at EYP now start at 170. It is significantly lower for non-MBAs.
It’s often based on competence.
That ain’t low
I make $79k. Got promoted to SC during Covid and only got 3% raise from C to SC.
Lol yeah I know. I’m not happy about. Hoping they make things right with June raises / AIP. I have feelers out if not.
