I nap but not to get reenergized and only bc I’m just exhausted and want to rest. I feel much more groggy and gross after napping and if I were to go back to resume my day outside of my house I’d need to jump in the shower to freshen up.
Pro
Same. I cannot nap but if I ever do fall asleep during day (would be a weekend) I cannot get back awake and am groggy.
Wish I was napping rn
I would nap every day if I could
Naps always make me feel terrible. I wouldn’t sweat it if I were you, it doesn’t work for everyone

I only nap when I'm more sleep deprived than normal. For example, I took a 25 minute nap mid-afternoon on Tuesday after getting up at 3:45 for a 4:30 workout. I'll do it from time to time on the weekends, when the kiddos are napping, though in practice that comes out to maybe once every 2-3 weekends I'll get a nap in.
Even if I don’t fall asleep, just stopping everything and lying down for 20 minutes when I can is SO re-energizing
Agree agree. Laying down to close my eyes or even laying down seems to give me a good enough boost without risking a 2hr nap

I can only nap in a huge block (>2 hours), so I don't nap often because it messes up my sleep cycle.
Heck yeah. I find it's much better to take a 20 minute nap vs. spending the same 20 minutes on twitter or Fishbowl 😁. I feel much more refreshed afterwards too. (but of course napping opportunities don't come by so easily)

What's not to love
I take a nap at 9pm for 30 minutes, wake up watch the news at 10 and then to bed! I’m old! Haha
I’d love a daily two hour siesta, but alas. Maybe once a month, I find an oppty for a 15 min power nap (cancelled call or whatever), and it totally brightens my day.
If I could I would love to. The few naps I do get in an Uber usually help me a lot
Id nap daily if I could easily fall asleep. Instead it’ll take me a while to sleep and wake up so I may be groggy. But a nap when I’m really, really tired? When I wake up I’m ready to conquer the world!
First job I had was in oilfield where 60 hour shifts were common. To avoid Norwegian labor law we were told to nap 20-30 minutes every 3-4 hours. Reality was much different, but the science of the effectiveness of a 20-30 minute nap was pretty solid.
