Wow. McKinsey, which has the biggest public sector presence of the MBB, really hasn't been doing too hot at all in the sector.
Its presence is tiny and it's gotten even smaller. Meanwhile it's bungling whatever opportunities it's getting.

A little bit. But I don’t miss:
-Getting up at the ass crack of dawn
-Throwing on professional clothing
-Stressful commutes
-Eating a bag or packaged lunch instead of cooking a fresh meal
-Unnecessary meetings which I can now camera off and check out from.
I also workout at lunch which leaves the evening free.
Every hour I spend commuting is an hour of my life completely wasted I’ll never get back.
So no. I don’t miss it on balance. I’ll be fully remote the rest of my life
I miss it sometimes, because virtual isn’t the same. But commuting sucks. At my last job, I’d have to get up while it was still dark out and drive for 45+ minutes to get there on time. I’m rushing through breakfast and grabbing a quick lunch to bring to save money. But remote? I can sleep in a bit. Or work out in the morning. My SO and I even made fun lunches since we were both working from home and could trade off.
