Had my 1:1 with my People Lead yesterday to prepare for talent discussions. Said I had a great year - but need to work on being consistent. She said when I’m engaged it’s great but need to keep it going. I’ve mentioned my ADHD previously but I’m sure she doesn’t know all the components of what that means. We’ve had org issues - no clear role descriptions or expectations. Yes I do have a hard time staying engaged (and I’m medicated - Vyvance in the am, dextroamphetamine at noon). Thoughts?

This is a little random but I’ve gotten some peace from this community and I wonder if others share the same struggle. Does anyone else take care of mentally ill parents? A company has made an offer and I wanted to understand if i'm being made a fool.

The monthly compensation is 1,37,500 (16,50,000 yearly) and Variable component (Bonus) is 1,50,000.

However in the offer it says "You shall be paid an annual compensation of Rs. 16,50,000/- per annum Cost to Company."

Which to me sounds like it doesn't consider 1,50,000 to be a part of CTC which is suspicious to me.

How should I deal with this?

I’m currently working with a senior level HR candidate. This individual has a doctorate in business with a focus in HR, her SPHR, Federal, and private sector experience at the singer level, and has a fabulous personality. I’m a first year associate (almost second year). I work at a national firm and I’m not a litigator. When I started with the firm, I was told I could work out of any office. Long story short, I regret choosing the office that I chose. I’d like to transfer to another office - is that a difficult ask? I’m licensed in the state I’d like to transfer to.
