Pto during thanksgiving and Christmas. Can they force me to go negative in my bank?

You’re it supposed to go negative- talk to your CC or location HR. You have a floating holiday, can do take 5 days, etc

Yes you guys, Accenture has a “shut down” but we are required to use PTO. Agree it’s a bad policy. OP, you’re discouraged from going in the red but you CAN do it. Talk to your career counselor and job lead for guidance. You can also do the “take 5” for unpaid leave if you need.

Yes, ask your PM and your CC for guidance. I believe it’s 2-3.

It is a stupid policy. It typically only impacts you if you're unstaffed or in corporate functions. If you have a billable project, you should be good to go. Otherwise you can go negative with PTO. HR might get on you for staying negative for an extended period of time.

Had my 1:1 with my People Lead yesterday to prepare for talent discussions. Said I had a great year - but need to work on being consistent. She said when I’m engaged it’s great but need to keep it going. I’ve mentioned my ADHD previously but I’m sure she doesn’t know all the components of what that means. We’ve had org issues - no clear role descriptions or expectations. Yes I do have a hard time staying engaged (and I’m medicated - Vyvance in the am, dextroamphetamine at noon). Thoughts?

Hi Everyone!

A company has made an offer and I wanted to understand if i'm being made a fool.

The monthly compensation is 1,37,500 (16,50,000 yearly) and Variable component (Bonus) is 1,50,000.

However in the offer it says "You shall be paid an annual compensation of Rs. 16,50,000/- per annum Cost to Company."

Which to me sounds like it doesn't consider 1,50,000 to be a part of CTC which is suspicious to me.

How should I deal with this?

Thank you!

This individual has a doctorate in business with a focus in HR, her SPHR, Federal, and private sector experience at the singer level, and has a fabulous personality. I’m curious is anyone else having difficulties play some candidates like this? At this point I’m starting to think it’s racial or her sex based of the lack of interest in this candidate. Any thoughts?
