Does anyone have tips on how to setup a productive and engaging home office/virtual work environment?

After nearly a year WFH and being with my family 24/7, I’m not entirely sure we actually like each other. Or maybe they don’t like me being at home. Or they don’t like me. Probably the latter 😞

We are seeing more pushback from employees on working 40 hours. We offer flexibility (wfh), 11 holidays and another 3 wks PTO. Seems like a good gig, I think, at 40-45 hrs. Anyone seeing this too?

I was recently hired by my dream agency. I get creative freedom, flexible hours, and I can work from home if I feel like it. Always keep looking for better opportunities, you never know when one might show up!

I started full time at an agency mid pandemic so have never once worked in the office. I find myself working 50+ hour weeks even from home. Everyone who says "I can't wait to be back at the office" - are they really serious? To tack on commute time and public transit anxiety, wake up at the crack of dawn. Will working from the office somehow decrease the work load and increase productivity? Genuinely curious who wants to go back and why.

Is Infosys giving permanent wfh for new joiners?
If yes, will they mention it in the offer letter?
Infosys office is not present in Kolkata and I don't want to relocate as I need to take care of my old parents and in-laws.

I got a offer from Shell Bengaluru, And they mentioned it's Hybrid and depends on Team, so approx will it be mandatory 3 days work from office?

So I've been at my job for 5+ years as a data analyst/back office support team. I made my way up into making a little over $40k. I've been WFH the past 2 yrs and overtime more than half my team has now been pulled out to work for a diff department which resulted in me taking 90% of our daily tasks to handle. I'm at a point where the salary I'm getting is disrespectfully low for all the work I do. Should I ask for a raise? And if so, how do I go about asking without sounding greedy.

What's the inhand salary calculation for below 2 offers(after tax)

1. 34 LPA fixed pay ( both employer and employee PF included) 12% of Basic. Total 3.2 LPA in PF deduction.

2. 36.5 LPA fixed pay ( employee pf 12% of basic and employer PF is 1800 )

My Deductions are
1. 1.5 lakhs 80c
2. 50k 80ccd
3. HRA - 22k p.m.

Been on a project for 2 weeks and thinking it’s not for me. The manager is kind of rude when I ask for help/direction, but he always says to ask if things are uncertain. Feel like audit scheduling is always done on a knifes edge in that the timeline and staff schedules are enough so that if everyone works 60 hour weeks and no issues are identified then it can be filed on time. But even small things that increase the work can wildly throw off the schedule and cause hours to skyrocket for the staff on the job. No real point here, just ranting.
