As per the general policy they cannot put you on the client until 1 full year (or more) on the same client. This differs from Geography to Geography depending on the regulatory requirements.
In US that's only for people who are FRORs.
No there is a cool off period if you worked in a financial related position at a client. They could join EY but if you do that too much your going to piss the client off and they will likely go with a different auditor that doesn’t poach all their people.
Yeah. I can appreciate that if it was a private client, but this is a 100+ person audit team around the globe.
I came from the financial reporting manager position at a client back to pwc. There is a cooling off period and I cannot work on that client until after the current audit is complete.
There’s a cool off period because you are definitely not allowed to audit any of the fiscal year that you were employed there.
Hi, OP! It depends if the company has a cooling off period. If there is, then you need to follow it.
