That’s actually a deep question. I think living past 100 would only be worth it if I could still enjoy life, stay healthy, and have people around me I care about. I understand what you mean though… thinking about repeating another whole lifetime from 51 can feel exhausting instead of exciting.
But honestly, 51 is still young in many ways. A lot of people find their happiest and most peaceful years later in life because they stop worrying so much and start living more for themselves. I think quality of life matters more than the number of years.
And who knows… maybe the best chapter of your life hasn’t even happened yet 😊
I’ve really enjoyed talking with you. If you’d like, we could exchange numbers and keep in touch more easily 😊
im 34 and I want. to die today... so no
Thank you
I think it boils down to quality of life. I'm 58 and "feeling my age" is coming on rather rapidly. Imagining 20 or 30 years from now... ugh.

I’m starting to feel more and more but there’s no surrender in me yet.

I’d rather live a higher quality of life for a shorter time than a longer life of less quality

I tend to agree with that although outside of the obvious things like chronic illness quality of life is kind of subjective.
