I’m sorry this happened. Try to write everything down. I used to be worried that folks would think I was incompetent if they see me writing everything down, but instead it makes one look more “on top” of things.
Have a friend in a similar boat.
Does your company allow the use of AI like copilot? Request it if not as an accommodation
Get transcripts of meetings, put them through the AI, let it highlight these things for you: "Give me the minutes of meetings and highlight any key deliverables mentioned in the meeting"
then add reminders on your calendar
Block time specifically for the tasks too, make sure they're at least a day before you need to do something.
Write them down. Use a note system that is both on your mobile and your desktop so you have access to it at all times.
As others have said, the answer is to write everything down. Everything. I have a whole system I’ve developed in Excel where I have to-do items listed by day and week. I highlight items by priority and move them to the next day if I don’t get them done (modified bullet journal system, basically). OneNote is a great tool as well. I use it to take notes on everything and it’s easy to search for things. It takes some time to develop your system and I’m constantly tweaking mine as I progress and get busier. Some people might think my system is overkill but it saves my *ss and I’m actually known for being organized. I’m better at project management skills than many of my non-ADHD colleagues. My house? That’s another story. But no one needs to know that :)
I have a running "cheat sheet" - a google sheet where I can dump meeting notes on one tab, key links on a second.
I even put the project names I'm working on at the very top so I don't forget to check in on a workflow just because that team didn't email that day.
