I’m anticipating a few offers over the next week or so from B4 and mid tier firms. LCOL, Senior manager in speciality tax. I’ve researched some, but I assume the data is lagging the current labor shortages. Does anyone have any insight on current offers? Base comp and signing bonus. Thanks!
Sharing for transparency…I left my strategy consulting job for a corporate strategy role at a large industrials company. At the senior manager level, I was offered 180 base and 20% bonus target. The base was comparable to what I made in consulting and bonus is probably a bit lower (but varies by year, last year my bonus in consulting was basically nothing). I’m sharing because when I was recruiting I wasn’t sure it was possible to find a role like this and I’m glad I was wrong!
Evaluating 2 offers: 1. Accenture consulting SM at 190K base plus 20K annual RSU and 2. Salesforce Senior Principal CSG at 155 Base, 15K RSU and 35% on target bonus. ideas on WLB and growth comparisons between the two.
Any insights on external hires comp structure at Accenture, SM level - Sales Director... base range, cash bonus, rsu? etc.
3 years ago was recruited away from D to a PE portfolio company to run M&A and other strategy work. Things have gone well and company is prepping for exit. Thinking about going back to consulting after exit: what options are out there? I left D as an M and would only consider returning as “senior” SM or higher. Who else is hiring at higher levels in M&A? What does starting comp look like for SM (or equivalent) role?
Fortunate to be deciding btw 3 offers and trying to decide what offer to go with. I don’t want comp to be part of the discussion at all because I’ve made some pretty bad moves in the past purely based on going with highest comp offer. 1. Senior Manager, Business Transformation (LinkedIn), 2. Principal - Business Operations & Strategic Program Management (Intuit), 3. Executive Director - Business Transformation (JP Morgan). What role would you pick solely based on the company and the role? Thanks
PwC I think our (up to) $20,000 referral bonus (for getting in a senior manager/director to the global mobility services group) seems to show more a sign of desperation especially as competitors offer $3,000-$4,000 for a senior manager referral bonus. What’s the deal? Have a certain number of that experience level been promised in the sale of the practice?
Looking for salary info for senior manager, Valuation. Mid - high COLs. Have two offers that I would like to evaluate (one big4; another mid size). TIA!!
Salary for PWC Senior Manager at MCOL city? I’m currently at 195 at another Big4. What should I shoot for?
How to clear the $200k mark? I’m currently a senior manager in product/ analytics/ growth at an old school F50. 29M, TC is about $185k ($140 base, $45 bonus/RSU). I’m on track to make director in ~2 years with ~250k TC but I’m bored and I want out to a more modern/ tech company. I’m struggling to find roles that match my current/ prospective comp… I’ve looked at sr. product roles and SM/ director analytics roles. Advice on where to look and what title? Will my age/ YOE hold me back? Thanks!
Anyone ever interview with / work for Mars? Pretty much no info here but getting requests for a senior manager role with pretty good comp. would love to hear about culture / experience
Offer Comparison: PWC - Senior Manager - $183k + 25k Signing Bonus +20% Annual Bonus Boutique Firm - Sr. Principal - $220k +10k Signing Bonus + 10% Annual Bonus Thoughts??
A recruiter reached out from AWS for a Sr Engagement Manager position. Currently a Senior Manager in a consulting firm. Recommend proceeding forward? How Senior is this AWS position? What is the career path? What range of compensation would this AWS position have? I tend to always low ball myself, want to ensure if I am genuinely interested I ask for reasonable compensation.

How easy is the exit from SM to director @ F100 In analytics? What is the expected compensation? Looking at jumping either to Pharma, Supply Chain, or Tech(could be late stage-unicorn) Background: 9 total yoe, 7 in consulting C->M-SM compensation is ~220k looking for 400k. BS/MS in CS at semi target Executive Education at Northwestern University
I’d love any thoughts on the below Amazon offer. It’s for a Senior Manager in Biz Ops / Strategy in NY. I think L6, but not certain (could be L7?). Base: 185k Signing bonus: 130k in Y1, ~100k in Y2 (paid as comp for RSUs: 110 shares (~350k), vesting over 4 years (5%, 15%, 40%, 40%, which I think is the standard Amazon schedule) So TC is ~330-350k per year. Feels decent, but no clue where that is in the band, and finding it hard to figure out non-tech bands.
Any leads on Associate Director / Senior Manager (Project Management group) base salary and bonus % at Publicis Sapient (Chicago, or NY) Thanks!
Hi, can anyone help me with the salary range of a Senior Manager in PwC DIAC or PwC SDC Bangalore MC team?
Deloitte SM 1 to BCG PL1. Recommendations on whether it’s worth it? Higher compensation but riskier with no network and seemingly worse off culture and WLB. Appreciate insights
Hi folks, need some advice choosing between offers received from Accenture, Deloitte and Wipro. Role level is similar at senior manager equivalent (similar level as my current role). Accenture and Deloitte offering 20% raise and Wipro about 30% plus they have higher bonus component so pay wise Wipro has highest offer. Deloitte and Accenture had very long interview process and especially Deloitte which took too long. Slightly confused what will be good for me. I am into technology consulting.
Would you be willing to forego a title for a significant compensation bump? Currently a Senior Manager but the role is a Manager...
Accenture comp for a regulatory tech SM role? (HCOL, 14yrs exp including 7 at EY which I left as a 3rd year SM). Headhunter had indicated they were willing to go up to 220-230k base. Seems low, and more like a 1st year SM comp at Accenture, and 260-280k base would seem more appropriate: thoughts? Thanks folks.
What would be a reasonable total comp to exit into medtech or health tech corporate strategy role at senior Manager level? The next level above is Director. Credential is MBA and PhD and 3 YOE post MBA. I’m assuming there is a discount compared to Pharma but is that true? I am thinking base + expected bonus should be at least $210k. Is this too high or low?. Thank you for your insights!
I’ve been through 5+ weeks of interviews with a company that will IPO next year and they did a bait and switch on me with the offer: it was advertised as “Head of” and then during the offer-walk-through-meeting today they said “oh btw we changed the title to ‘Senior Manager’ for this role”. They offered me a salary I made 4 years ago as a manager. They offered stock options with an exercise price TBD 1 year from now…which is when they’re hitting IPO. Is that normal for stock options?
What is a realistic % increase in salary when switching to another company with career level bump? In final negotiations for EY Advisory Senior Manager role (and currently Accenture S&C Manager). Is a 20% increase too much to aim for?

Gearing up towards salary negotiations, I've got 2 YOE and 66.668$ TC as a consultant with no benefits. My role description has changed quite a bit since I started and I'm now the only colleague with a qualified QA degree in my team. I am considering putting forward a proposal of a 25-30% increase to match my role as QA lead, is this to bold?
Don’t let yesterday‘s news disappear from this feed. If we had a union, it would never allow agencies to instill these salary cuts, furloughs, and layoffs without a clear plan for reinstatement
I have offer letter of 15.2 lpa+variable. NOW to another company I said 17 Lpa to Consultancy HR and they submitted the same data to this Company. After selection they are telling we will give 17 Lpa and they don't have variable part. They are yet to do HR round, I am not sure this is for some Salary Negotiation or some QnA round. How should I convince them. Current Salary 10lpa Exp 9.2 Years. And this is my 1st switch.
I want to switch role as an AWS developer. But I have just learnt the things on my own in AWS. In interview I am asked questions based on real scenarios on which I am not having any experience. Any suggestions? Even if I do hands on on services like Linux academy or quiklabs, it would not help. (AWS cloud migration experience one can get if worked on a real project). Please help.
Grateful for my support system. I burst into tears during a zoom call with a project leader today. He said the sweetest thing anyone ever said to me in years. A quick catch-up turned into a therapy session.

My 4 YO takes riding lessons at a small barn outside of the city. I hopped on a horse there recently for old time's sake, but haven't really ridden in years. A casualty of the legal profession, along with the rest of my hobbies from my former country life. His instructor asked me if I'd be willing to get back in the saddle. Part of me is like, this is the change I need. It will help me lose this COVID-15lbs. But I'm also terrified and I have no idea why. (cont)
So I joined PwC as a first year senior and got promoted this year. I heard the firm does not pay milestone bonus to people not organically grew in the firm? Or just a hair cut? I just tried to figure out if I can offset some of my realized gains and losses due to financial clearance ...
I applied for Chase Reserve credit card but was denied for insufficient credit history (3 years). Any other great travel credit cards I may have a better shot with? Thanks!

What is the benefit of working for a big 4 over a mid size? From what I’ve seen the money is comparable and work life balance seems to favor mid size. If you aren’t worried about exit opportunities it seems like mid size is a better option.
I recently got an offer as an intern at EY and I currently have a felony for possession of Marijuana. should I disclose this to my recruiter after I receive the background check link? What steps should I make moving forward?
