Which is the best airline program to align with?

I’m going to start traveling again post pandemic and debating on which airline to go all in on (or should I divide and conquer?). I’m assuming 1 of the big 3 (AA, Delta, United) is the answer?

What I have: AA Platinum thanks to BCG perk but can get United or Delta to match. Also have Southwest companion pass but that’s expiring this year.

Currently live in Chicago if that matters.

My last fee flights on Delta have been miserable (I.e. delays, RE-routes, going back to gate, etc.). Anyone else experiencing the same? I’m thinking about switching to another airline

How do I pick the best airline and hotel chain for reward status? I'm about to start traveling a lot more next year, and I don't have any real strong loyalties. I live in the north-east in a mid-sized city, and will be traveling mostly in the north-east. My airport is primarily served by American, Delta and Southwest, but isn't a hub for any airline.

Thinking about cashing out my City TY points for cash and closing Citi Premier if they don't give me a retention bonus. Am I missing any obvious plays to get significantly more than 1c per point?

There are occasionally transfer bonuses but i mostly fly Delta and Southwest and the only tempting one was Virgin and the ability to book Delta first class for a decent rate but that was a few years ago, not sure that is still an option. No international travel planned in immediate future.

Are HOAs and property taxes a thing in London? Debating a job btwn nyc and London and while at first glance nyc looks better money wise, housing seems so so much more expensive if buying. HOA plus property taxes add thousands to the mortgage. Wondering how that looks like in London. Can’t find anything but initial stamp tax in whicb case the pay delta is narrowing…

Alright, which biglaw firms in Houston/Austin are hiring class of 2020 for corporate/finance? I was magna at a top school if it matters since I’m a recent grad. My firm is good about giving us substantive work early so I have some decent experience for my level.

My firm is pretending like the delta variant doesn’t exist and expects us in the office daily without masks. I have an immunocompromised partner and I’m just done with my firm prioritizing culture and back to office over our health.

Am I alone in thinking that weekly testing / vaccines are not sufficient to justify parents going in regularly? Young child at home and at-risk parents still top of mind with delta around

Need help. I have an upcoming family trip and we’re flying with Delta. We have an infant which I want to add to our existing delta itinerary. Surprisingly their website has no simple/straightforward way to do it yourself. So I’m calling their customer service which has me in the queue forever (twice)!! Anyone has faced this situation lately? How did you go about it ??

Had an abnb res for $600 starting fri, but the host just canceled today. Equivalent options are $1k. CS agent said they wouldn’t cover the delta.. any advice on how to negotiate this?

My group has been going into the office 3-4 days a week since mid-June. Our office is in Houston, which is dealing with a surge of Delta cases. Every week we get multiple emails about someone in the building testing positive for covid. I would like to work from home until cases either decrease or I’m able to get a booster (so maybe 6 weeks). I know my firm would say it’s ok but I think ppl in my group would judge me & it could hurt my image at the firm. Thoughts?

Need some advice - I am flying with a puppy in late September and he will be 8 weeks old. I just read deltas pet policy and it says they require pets to be at least 10 weeks. Anyone who travels with pets on delta know if they actually check the age or is this something I can surpass?

-Execs want to mandate the vaccine.
-Execs cut mktg budget but feel an all team on site meeting is needed for “morale” but we can’t be in the same room bc Delta
