Those of you recently flying Delta from JFK internationally - how early did you go to the airport?

I have awful experiences with JetBlue from this year, being 3 hours early almost didn’t cut it re. checked bag drop off.

For a flight NAM - Bangkok, what airline is best (Emirates, Qatar, Ethiad) for status match with US airlines (Delta, United, AA)?

Have a trip planned to italy in October. Scared the Delta variant may put the travel ban again. My airbnb is refundable until sep 2, should I cancel?

If you get delta after getting vaccinated, do you still need to quarantine 10 days at home? I got COVID in April and did the 10 days. But wonder if you still need to if you’re vaccinated. I have a minor sore throat today but going to wait after the weekend to officially get tested.

For those of you (or people close to you) who have gotten covid (presumably delta) after being vaccinated, how long did you test positive?

Delta maybe peaking in FL? Debating on our trip to Universal with unvaccinated kids in 20 days. Sounds like most of the cases are in the schools which we obviously be avoiding. Airport, resort, park and back. Crazy to still consider it or crazy not to go?

Looking for practical tips or advice. I have a relative who’s going to stay with my elderly Vaxed parents, and they are unvaccinated. Been traveling recently and stopping on their way home for a few days.  I asked to see if they would take a at home rapid PCR test before entering, but they’d rather not go before taking a test. Opening all the windows or limiting HVAC isn’t an option. They don’t wear masks in public, either. Anything they can do to stay safe? Delta breakthroughs is scary.

Delta announced that they’re fining unvaccinated employees $200 a month. Probably easier to just mandate vaccines for anyone who flies on their airline, but this is a good step.

As a nation, we’re in a dangerous surge. We’re under attack. The virus has evolved. Being vaccinated is no longer enough. Treat these times as if it’s April 2020 and let’s send Delta packing. Otherwise it’s going to be a dark, dark winter.

With everything that's going on with the collapse of Afghanistan, the delta variant causing more sickness and death, wild fires out west, family deaths, and too much work, I just want to give up. It feels like the end of the world is near, and I don't want to be stuck working when it does end. Does anyone else feel like this currently? Rationally I know that is probably not the case, just mentally over it!
