Lost my checked baggage while traveling through star alliance partners with a ticket booked through United Airlines (with a united explorer card). For lost baggage insurance, is it really required to submit all receipts of the items that were in the bag? I don’t have all receipts of items amounting to more than $25.

Should I accept the offer? Would degrading the designation from deputy manager to assistant manager be a mistake? Please suggest.

Is it a good move in general to switch from Deloitte USI consulting to KPMG global services consulting practice? Any thoughts welcomed.

I’m thinking about applying for United Club card. The bonus miles are lucrative, if I make purchases totaling $5000 or more during the first 3 months. I pay rent through venmo - is there anyway I am able to make my monthly rent payments count toward those bonus miles?

United Platinum here - got an offer to pay ~$6k for upgrade to 1K. Thoughts on if it’s worth it?

Already belong to Club (United Infinite) and have CLEAR credit through Amex Platinum. Still have 40 plus points from hitting Platinum last year.

Unlikely to travel for business until late 2Q at earliest but have 2-3 transcontinental flights planned for summer and 1 transatlantic for fall. Maybe another 1-2 shorter trips this year as well. I imagine I’d use my extra plus points on all these.

Does anyone have any experience with the United Chase Explorer card? Does the free checked bag apply to international flights (specifically to Europe)? If I book basic economy, would I still get that checked bag + a carry on? How does seat selection work on basic? What priority boarding group is associated with this card? I’m assuming the card alone will not make you eligible for upgrades, does the united club card do this? The explorer card is pretty cheap annually, but is this even worth it?

I've got an interview for BCG's Data and Research Services (BCG DRS) for Research associate position. I'm currently working in KPMG Global Services (KGS) with a 5.4 LPA package and recruiter mentioned a hike of 30-35% with BCG DRS.

Is BCG DRS worth joining? Is the environment better than KGS or should I stick with KGS?
