Does anyone else find short-haul JetBlue flights to be the most miserable experience? It's fine if you are flying Mint NYC-LAX but every other experience with the airline has been painful. Unfortunately, there are many routes where JetBlue is one of the only options.

3rd party recruiter who set up my interview with a company has gone MIA. They are not answering emails or call. She sent the invite but we were supposed to have a pre interview thing before the interview. It’s giving me the feeling that A. The CFO is not going to show or B. I have no chance. I told the recruiter that I had previously interviewed with the company like 2 years ago but they hadn’t settled on a WFH policy and I didn’t want to move forward as I wasn’t committed to living in the area.

Best little did gig for an extra grand a month? I currently work a full time job making about 3k a month, flash tattoos averaging about 400-700 a month. I just quit a security gig that was an extra 300 a month but that’s because it had me working overnights on Saturdays when I normally got 7am to 4pm Monday through Friday. It messed with me too much. I was getting out of the military, had no directly transferable work skills, and needed to make a living in an expensive city (San Diego). Started looking at my options and found that I could do menial labor for just above minimum wage OR I could learn to get people to buy things and make this wonderful thing called commission! Took a job in insurance sales and the rest is history! Been in sales for about 15 years now ❤️

I want to get a high paying career to maintain the COL in San Diego.

Should I get a PhD in physics or is there anything out there for me at BS or MS level?

I don’t mind working in other quantitative fields outside physics. I have python, MATLAB, and Java experience.

Hi All - My wife received an RFE for her I-485 form and we sent a response to USCIS San Diego field office P.O. box last week. However, the USPS tracking status says that the package is waiting for someone to pickup, which is strange because I thought P.O. Box should just be a drop-off address. If they don’t pick up today then it will be returned to us. Has someone encountered this before and what did you do?
