Does anyone know the salary for internal audit manager/ financial analyst in the big technology company in San Francisco?

Has anybody here made the jump from Recruitment to Sales? Moving back to my hometown of San Diego and I’ve really wanted to make the jump, just not sure how they measure out! Open to advice!

Currently have 6 YOE, and earning approx. $115k/yr TC as an IT Infra engineer.

My strengths are servers & virtualization, as well as storage (SAN/NAS). I'm Looking to make the shift into a more specialized role, either Cloud engineer (SysOps) in Azure/aws or a storage Engineering position.

Can anybody in these fields give me an idea of what TC is to be expected with my experience as well as the pathways to get into the role?

Taking a side trip from San Diego (work trip) to Palm Springs in mid January by myself. I guess I’ll rent a car and drive there. I’d like to do a day trip to Joshua Tree. Should I stay in downtown Palm Springs? An outlying resort? Any other day trips? Female solo traveler. Also debated flying from SD to Santa Barbara instead of Palm Springs. Just want to be outside and enjoy good food, wine, scenery, hiking, relaxation.

I come from computer science engineering background. I have done software engineering prior to my MBA. I interned in product management technical role in AI/ML to space during summers. My eventual goal is to be in tech and in product roles. Should I pursue my MBB offer for a couple of years (San Francisco office) before switching to product, or straight away enter product role.

Flying to San Antonio from the North east. The fare to San Antonio is pricier than flying to Austin. Worth it to fly to Austin, drive down to San Antonio and the reverse way back? The diff is about 150-200usd

For a hot real estate market like San Francisco, I see that one bedroom condos with 1000 plus HOA fees are still not selling, so buyers are not buying every single property irrespective of the condition, how so? Why don't people buy condos?

Is it realistic to live in San Francisco and work in Cupertino 3 times a week in the office? Can't afford anything in the South Bay so thinking about buying a starting family (condo or a small townhouse) in San Francisco city around 1M. Company will offer the shuttle bus but dunno if the commute is really that awful.

Does it make a big difference in terms of pitting 5%, 10% or 15% down payment to buy a house? Plan to buy a 1-1.2M house in San Francisco next year and I only have about 150k cash. So definitely leaning to put only 5% down and then refinance to get rid of the PMI (if the property appreciates well). Will a higher percentage down payment help winning in the offer bid?

Why do you all hate the Bay Area? I mean San Francisco downtown area is not great and I can understand, but Bay Area seriously? Like Sausalito, Berkeley hills, Santa Cruz, Pacifica? What's wrong with these places?

If your office is in San Jose, how bad is it to buy a house in Oakland/Berkeley hills? I love the cute houses there on the hills with a view but I know that the commute will be bad (over 1 hour). Also I kinda hate Fremont area as it has no characters. Also I cannot afford the peninsula.
