I interviewed with Manulife last Wednesday. It went really well. The HM was vocal about my thoughts, structure and case work I had put through. However, I’m now getting worried that they didn’t come back yet. Usually, I think if HM really likes you, they get back within 1-2 days. Shall I consider this as a gone opportunity? I hate to follow-up honestly, but if it’s suggested, I will.
How on earth do you get your application out of “in review” hell with Goldman Sachs ? Sooo many applications for VP roles in the “application is in review” stage and they don’t seem to move. Any GS recruiters who I can message privately and maybe you can give me the recruiters email for a few roles I’m most interested in so I can reach out proactively so I can maybe get at least an interview or two?
Anyone interview at cognizant?
I feel like quitting, unfortunately. I had always associated my identity with my career. My career was going fine until I was mass-laid off because my consulting division didn’t have enough work. I had 8 YOE and was new immigrant in Canada. Canadian banks took advantage and hired me at lowest level. It’s been 5 years and I can’t move up because I’m not good at politics (despite “exceptional” rating). I am not good at interviewing. Had 5 leads last week, 3 gone in a day.

Anyone here at Macquarie NYC headquarters? Currently at the offer stage of my interview but have managed to scare myself away from all the negative reviews on Glassdoor/Indeed.
I'm applying for an EA position as my pivot into Finance, working in Media atm. Any insight on the work culture/environment is much appreciated!
