Currently without employment and in a bit of a dilemma: My non preferred company did a bait and switch with the role, took a month to get me the e-contract with start date TBD (2-3 weeks down the line). My preferred company is interviewing super slowly, the position is senior, pay is great and commute is lower. Ok to tell non preferred to wait longer or will it make HR mad at me and take the offer away?

Help me Decide: Am Senior PM at a bottom tier, PE-owned niche tech firm on the west coast. Low-effort work environment due to lax leadership and low maturity in PM discipline. Day to day is pretty mellow and I like my coworkers a lot. Making decent $$$ but just got an offer for same title at dev shop that’s about a 15% salary bump, but the org sounds pretty crappy, W/L balance def will be worse. No other incentives aside from base salary. Recently bombed a 2nd round PM interview with a FAANG.

Considering applying to Deloitte federal. Can anyone provide an approximate salary for a mgr/senior mgr and if it is possible to be in this position without having to move to DC? I have active Ts/Sci

Anyone have any personal insight to EYs global compliance and reporting in Chicago is like (actually day to day, group, pay, etc)? Says the role involves “global tax project management” I’ll do a pre interview to figure out exactly what it entails but was hoping for some personal insight beforehand. Interviewing for a senior data analyst position at a startup. What kind of questions should I expect?

Need perspectives: I’m interviewing with a senior leader at Company A in a few days. I realized that about 3-4 years ago, I worked very briefly with this individual when he was an employee of Company B and I was working on a client project for them. I know we aren’t supposed to name our previous clients on interviews, but if he happens to recognize my name and asks if I did work with Company B before, would you all say yes, and essentially name a previous client on an interview?

Today was suppose to be my graduation day. Instead I had an experienced hire Big Four interview this afternoon with a senior manager and partner. Was referred to them by another senior manager. Told quite a few positions need to be filled. No hiring freeze for those positions. Don’t expect to hear right away due to Covid delays,working from home, and it being late afternoon on Friday. How long of wait time till I should worry about no offer? Super excited and nervous all at once. Advice needed!
