Need genuine advice. Been planning to move abroad permanently for quite some time but due to pandemic situation, all plans were put to rest. I am having FOMO seeing others still trying to get things done by the way of finding jobs and applying for them. Should I apply too? Not sure how employers are acting towards foreign workers atm.
Recently laid off from Sr. Consultant role in energy in Houston. 4 years exp in supply chain/procurement and 2 in consulting (mainly tech PM work aka scrum). Have my MBA and PSM 1 cert. Looking to create a tool we can use for stakeholder relationship tracking. We want to be able to hear a clients name, look them up in the tool, see info about their role and department, and see which of our consultants have worked with them before and on what projects. Trying to think of an easy to use, interactive tool beyond something like excel. What’s something you’ve used for this before? Don’t think we’ll be going as far as purchasing a license for a CRM software
I see some of my peers leaving tech consulting in PwC to accept a position as a product manager in tech companies like amazon, google, Salesforce, qualtrics, doordash, etc? How is the transition like? Or how TC in a B4 compares to PM in a big tech company?
I’ve been through 5+ weeks of interviews with a company that will IPO next year and they did a bait and switch on me with the offer: it was advertised as “Head of” and then during the offer-walk-through-meeting today they said “oh btw we changed the title to ‘Senior Manager’ for this role”. They offered me a salary I made 4 years ago as a manager. They offered stock options with an exercise price TBD 1 year from now…which is when they’re hitting IPO. Is that normal for stock options?
Interviewing for a senior project manager role in Salesforce CSG. Can anyone tell me about the role, culture, WLB, etc at Salesforce? Is WLB and culture really as good as they claim?

Interviewing with a small firm. Have met with all 4 partners over zoom. Today I speaking with the associate over the phone. Recruiter says just informational and we both expect I’ll receive an offer. What kinds of questions should I ask the associate at this point?
Has anyone else in NY had an offer delayed? I was told by my EY recruiter that it would take some time to receive the verbal and written offer due to a new background check for NYC residents; I was told unofficially that the team liked me and wanted to move forward and we discussed comp and start date. I’m a little concerned something else is going on and my offer will go to someone else. Am I worrying too much? Thanks! EY

Am I crazy for thinking being a mom is harder than working in biglaw? I’m a mid level associate and FTM currently on maternity leave and the amount of sleeplessness over the past few weeks have convinced me my job is a piece of cake in comparison. I’m so overwhelmed.
2 years at MBB + M7 MBA, currently in Chicago. Looking to move to a lower cost of living geography. Heavily considering exiting into Tech in the Research Triangle Park Area (think Raleigh, Cary, Durham, Morrisville) . Targeting these firms for BizOps/ Sales Strategy roles: Cisco, Lenovo, IBM, Salesforce, Amazon, Microsoft. Non-negotiable is a focus on cloud technologies - either as a provider or an adopter. Any heavyweights I am missing? (Purposely left GCP out). Appreciate the stress test!

Thank you all in advance.
