Currently SC at D, got an "offer" from Cisco G11 level Program Manager role. 7>yoe + master's in CS + Lots of cloud and agile certs. Interestingly, HR was not willing to provide any compensation package details before hearing what I want. Im super bad at negotiating, Any thoughts on how to approach this?
Unfortunately I already provided some numbers based on my other interviews and my current base and he was so surprised since I was stll willing to get a 15-20% increase lol

I am a manager with 13 yoe and getting an interview with Facebook as IC6. Want to understand if switching to IC6 is a good option or should I ask for manager role. Looking for insights for pros and cons of IC role. I enjoy people management but this IC role is for program manager.

I have a but of a situation. Just started a job as a Sr associate and found out a program manager was hired a month earlier who has equivalent exp/education as me. I like my job but feel that I shouldn’t be in a more junior role than this manager since we have very similar backgrounds. Need an advice. YOE is 18 and present role is Program manager and present CTC is 25LPA. CTS is offering Senior manager position but CTC package is yet to be discussed. Alreday have another offer with HCL for 35LPA. How much shall I demand CTS for a counter offer. ?

Having a tough time understanding non-tech leveling for jobs at Facebook. What level/pay band should someone align to with 8 years of b4 strategy experience in a non-tech program manager role? Base+bonus+RSU. Don’t know if location matters anymore but position is aligned to NYC.

Finally I have 2 offers to get out of this place. Both new roles are a step up and pay the same in federal space. One is a very small company doing a traditional SM of PMs role, non sdlc pmo work. Other is a large company as a Program Manager, overseeing a staff of ~25 doing sdlc- some agile.

I eventually want to go big tech for an IC role. I feel like the smaller company position is more aligned with IC role. My only scare is I will be out of touch on emerging tech and practices.
