Just received a strategic finance associate offer with 140k base and 20-30% bonus. Will be my first post IBD job and I can’t tell whether that bonus is a joke or not.....

Any tips for negotiating with Accenture? Coming in at Associate Manager. Can I ask for more PTO/Bonus %/Sign On?

Are there significant differences between leaving after 1 year versus 2 in terms of opportunities at the associate level? I’m not even looking for some huge comp bump tbh, I’m happy enough with what I make now, I just want better wlb and my mental health to stop suffering. The only thing I’d stay longer for is unlocking better opportunities but wasn’t sure that is different if you’re not staying long enough to try to make that first promotion to manager

Is it worth moving to Oliver Wyman from Accenture? Move is at the associate level. Base is 130K and potentially higher bonus (25k average estimate). But already at 127K at Accenture at the consultant level and up for promotion this year to push to $150 to 160k base.

Hi all. Wanted to see what general thoughts are about moving from big 4 FDD to A&M TAS. The compensation structure and culture that A&M sells are appealing, but want to know if there are any significant downsides to leaving the big 4.

Passed the bar last month and became an Associate at the firm I’ve been a law clerk at since 2L. It sucks. I’m getting no work, no mentoring, or guidance.
