Looking for advice deciding between two FT consulting offers. Any insight is appreciated.
Both roles are in NY office.
(1) EY-Parthenon
Pros:
Relatively higher prestige (possibly better exit opps)
Higher bonus (avg. ~18% of base)
Cons:
Hours (60-70hrs/wk)
Likely stuck on PE work (little ownership as associate)
(2) Accenture Strategy
Pros:
More client-facing as analyst (per chats)
More interesting work to me (CPG, retail, etc.)
Hours (~50/wk)
Cons:
Grouped in with overall ACN
6 month projects
McKinsey & Company I’ve been at Meta for 2 years as a project mgr, and looking to return to consulting. What role & comp range can I realistically target?
I worked for big 4 as an org transformation consultant out of college for 2 yrs. I have about 8 years experience total in tech project mgt/implementations, and a non target MBA.
TIA 😊

Hi all. I am trying to determine if I am being compensated fairly. I am a tax manager (about to start my second year as manager) and have been with EY since staff 1. I was promoted to manager in June 2020 (during covid) and received a 7.5% raise. The class above me has mentioned they received much higher raises during their promotion years. My base salary is now approx. 97K. Any insights would be extremely helpful. Thanks!
