Hi All, Today I've resigned and my LOD is 2 Sept. Can anyone please let me know for these 90 days salary would be credited only after FnF. Or June'22 salary will be credited as usual, however, July and September salary would be credited during FnF. Please confirm or suggest.

Move dilemma:
Currently @ Arthur D. Little Limited Dubai as SE Manager w/ base comp of 285k $ + 10-15% bonus. Vert limited fit w/ people & projects in the region (MEI) & not motivated by seniors. Not happy w/ the job but good WLB. Very likely to promote to Pr which would include a 20-30% jump in total comp but shift to more variable
Move to MBB as PL. Projects & people are supposed to be great and he could see himself in the long run. Comp is 170k $ + 60% bonus. Will take 1.5y to move to Pr

It’s a genuine question. My first position in consulting didn’t allow for negotiations. I’m looking for advice.
You can negotiate anything. From the employer’s perspective of course they would prefer RSUs to sign on cash. Just say that you’d prefer the sign on to be in cash, no need to give a reason.
It doesn’t necessarily have to be a trade, you can just ask for additional sign on to make it worth leaving your current role, to cover an upcoming bonus, etc. Wiggle room on all aspects of comp is company dependent, agree that equity package is usually more standard but I have seen sign on cash that varies tremendously for the same level
What company is offering 135k base for 2 YOE? Jesus Christ I’m behind
FYI sign-on bonuses tend to have a vesting period as well al taking cash over equity might nit reap the benefits you are looking for.
I’m not sure how much negotiation power you have when you go in knowing you won’t be there for more than 4 years. If anything you won’t get the same amount and you’ll probably have to pay it back if you leave before a certain time.
Try and see. The most likely worst case is they say no.
Is 15k stock vested over 1 year? Is that why you're counting it all as TC?
