What's the salary of a managing director overseeing a key piece of business in NYC?

WWFBD: All knowing fishbowl I have a compensation scenario I feel is shady but looking for thoughts and guidance here. Promotion to Director coincided with a move to another practice about 18 months ago. At the time the increase due to the original group comp structure was about half of what would have been awarded normally for this level of promotion. Assurances were made that a way would be found to make me whole. Those conversations have now been forgotten. Leaving me $15k under 2019

Considering an offer as Director of Finance Transformation for small biotech firm. Currently Manager at 182k base plus 10ish% target bonus. Offer is $30k sign on, $75k RSUs (3 year vest) $205 base plus 25% target bonus plus up to additional $50k RSUs annually. Looking at another year to year and half promo to SM. I have to be an idiot not to take this right? Any issue with getting this many RSUs? Any advice would be appreciated.

Negotiating a a Director level offer at a Series C tech company. $350K cash comp - where should I aim for in equity?

I’m getting to the point where i want to start a family but don’t see how in this environment supports that since the work is so intense and there aren’t good benefits. Why do most manager level consultants exit to Tech? I work a lot in consumer, and the exit opps as an EM are of higher title (maybe similar salary) as tech. Eg. Tech would be manager exit, consumer could be director.

I’m a director of PM at a small tech company which is profitable and growing. What total comp should I be making?
Context: I joined as an IC and moved up to the role. The company mostly offers cash compensation (vs equity).

EY Parthenon fishes need some help ! Have a call with HR to talk about salary expectations. Interview went stellar and I think I really impressed all the interviewers ! I interviewed for M&A execution group. What is the base salary for a director ? I think it’s manager equaling at other consulting firms. Does EY Parthenon offer a signing bonus for experienced hires? Currently a manager at a competing firm and have 7 years of experience post masters (non MBA).

Is anyone else having a hard time matching compensation? I’m currently making about $250k total comp. I’ve interviewed for several Director-level roles but most have total comp in the $190-220k range. Is it actually possible to keep my comp level or should I set my target lower?

Senior Director / Senior Manager Salary, Location?

Have an offer for operations director level role with real P&L ownership in mutli site operations space. Problem is cash comp feels low (prob 15% lower than I make now, would be much lower post promo) a lot of travel (driving 4+ hours one way prob every other week), and equity doesn’t vest for 5 years (although it is a good amount of equity with decent but not great upside potential). Worth the pay cut to get real ops experience? Or not that valuable relative to staying where I’m at?

How high a base salary can go in a big bank? I’m not referring to the total comp (TC) but only base salary before bonus... I assume the highest it can go is up to the CEO’s base but, realistic speaking, what is the maximum i should expect or better put, dream as a potential base salary?
