Promotion to Director coincided with a move to another practice about 18 months ago. At the time the increase due to the original group comp structure was about half of what would have been awarded normally for this level of promotion. Waitlisted at UVA Darden, accepted to a MS IT Management.

Previous military so I have a GI Bill to burn through. I'm waitlisted at Darden's EMBA and accepted to a 1-yr MS IT Management program.

My thought is that if I don't get off the waitlist, I can do the MS MIT this year then the EMBA next year. My mentor thinks the MS MIT might pigeon-hole me into the tech-only world and be redundant if I'm going to go on to get the EMBA.
