From a bonus perspective can you get a 1 rating if you don’t get promoted? Ie you are a really high performing staff at your current level.
Transferring from Assurance to PI (advisory) within the same city. currently a staff 2, but they are offering staff 1 advisory salary saying that “not everybody gets adj”. Should I negotiate?
Thoughts on Chief of Staff Roles within industry? Recruiting with a multi-national sales training and performance company as the CoS to their CEO. They want to build out a new professional service arm amongst other strategic growth initiatives and they need someone to help push the agenda. By thoughts I am looking for things like... are these valued positioned in companies, trajectory into an executive role in a few years, compensation accretive, interesting work? Comp sounds like it will be +\- $165, 25% bonus and some variable comp tied to the performance of the sales team (don't know numbers here but certainly interesting). Is that in play for this type role? I am currently M1, S&O, MBA from top 5, high performer. Represents a small bump for me on my current base pay and bonus
Do staff salaries go up? If so, when? I am an SA at the top of the band. If I make M1, the salary will go up only slightly. How would I negotiate a raise?
My salary is $55,700 after being promoted from staff 1 to staff 2 in the central region. Does that seem low?
What's the salary increase (if any, I hope) expectation for a lateral move to industry (A3 to staff accountant) I don't have CPA completed yet. I cannot stay to senior.
Comp call w/ PPMD. Told I’m the 2nd highest rated Tax staff 1 regionally, only got $3k pay bump and I’m being staffed on this new client and they’re pulling the best on nationally... WTF?
what is tax staff 1 compensation in general? looking to possibly transfer into indirect tax. Currently in an Audit position in the NE.
Regional firm ($100-200M), Dallas. Promoted from staff 2 - Senior 1, top rated (9/10 rating-rounded). ~ 7% raise, less than $2k bonus. Feel like I know the answer, but- am I getting totally screwed???
Has anyone heard how much the compensation increases are for FSO Assurance? Staff 1 > Staff 2 with a 3 rating? Asking for a friend. Thanks.
Anyone in the Phoenix market have insight/experience on salary ranges in big 4 / national firm corporate tax practices? Considering a relocation. Looking for salaries at all levels staff - Sr manager
Staff 2 and got a 5. Assuming promotion but haven't heard anything. Are promos communicated along with compensation?
Partners - how are we doing? As a business, we can’t see the numbers - so good to understand if we are okay? I really wish there was like a graph or something that everyone could see
I’m looking to create a virtual war room for a large scale broadcast campaign that our creative team is starting to develop concepts for, but everything I’ve been looking into (google docs, Dropbox, Miro) just doesn’t quite measure up to the physical space we’re used to using in our office. Anyone have luck working with a digital platform that they’d recommend?
How do you get recruiters to give you a salary band for a job? Every time I ask they dance and say, “oh money won’t be an issue.” and ask me for a number first.
Any one trying to play smash at work while our ADs bust their ass trying to push out everything before Christmas?
I’ve always wanted a job (or so I thought) where I got consistent feedback that was more than “you’re doing a great job” or “keep doing what you’re doing”. Now that I’m actually getting the constructive feedback I hoped for I find myself becoming less motivated when I hear it and feeling overwhelmed when I try to figure out how I can do better. Advice?
Getting married with a citizen while on h-1b visa - do I need a lawyer or can I deal with the documentation myself?
Political contributions. DEL 1.9M (30% to D, 70% to R); EY PAC 1.8M (37% to D, 63% to R); PWC PAC 1.5M (34% to D, 66% to R); KPMG $1.1M (35% to D, 65% to R); BAH $0.2M (76% to D, 19% to R);
So true 😆
I have been in PA calls all day, both C & M. There is a lot of tough discussions, but I would not call it a “Blood Bath”. Most, if not all, CCs were well prepared and advocated for their counselees. Keep your head up.
Has anyone tried the idea of swapping creative teams with another company’s in-house team for a one-off project? Thinking it would be nice to give the creative teams a change of pace by working a different brand.
Oh. I had 10% participation this week ☹️ Also, I’m starting to feel bad about how much I’m not missing the classroom. I’m really liking this, tbh. Anyone else?
