Do any other firms have an early career investment bonus? I.e., allow you to elect a bonus amount and corresponding payout date 18+ months in the future when you're a staff?

For PwC, how does your 3rd year work.. Are you acting as a senior (i.e. reviewing, have staff report to you) and just don't have the tile? Similar compensation as Senior 1s at other big 4?

Expecting an offer, which I’m excited for but after the interview I realized that this division is 98% start up. The title is Sales Associate however the responsibilities beyond selling are: build the sales program; responsibility for all admin; education of staff including developing and conducting training regionally; creating marketing and promotion campaigns; reporting and measurement of staff performance involved in sales. No direct reports. What is an appropriate title and salary range?

I have been in my current position for 5 yrs with minimal pay increases despite consistent praise from management for being one of the strongest in our department. I hold specialty certifications, staff in ICU and ED, am part of several hospital committees, and regularly perform formulary reviews/MUEs/guideline updates. Was reached out to by their team and have read about it — love the focus area of their firm and conceptually the way the talk about balance, but a bit skeptical and would love to get insight from anyone who works/worked there to understand it better. I received an offer from EY GDS Philippines for a staff 4(44-4) around 85K monthly from 64K current salary. However my asking is from 100K-120K and from the start I communcated to HR that may asking salary is non negotiable. Do you think the offer is fair enough?

My building I just moved in uses common charges for staff holiday bonus, but still sent a list of the staff and encouraged us to thank anyone who provided exceptional service. Am I still supposed to tip everyone (there are 50 of them)? Everyone did a good job but no one stood out…

Potential employer is asking what compensation level I was looking for. They asked me to think about it because they are ready to make an offer. Currently I make $56,000 in LCOL. Potential firm is largest in the state. Current firm is large regional firm. Would be same role I am currently as Staff Accountant. Just not sure what amount to shoot for.

Pay the people at your firm WAY above market. Hire NO external seniors or managers. Hire a madly large amount of campus hires with non PA experience (experience in retail, fast food, etc) at above market rate. Have them trained up in small groups by seniors and managers who are happy with their salary. Have the partners in the trenches with staff, seniors, and managers all making sure stuff gets done without killing anyone's mental health. THAT is what a PA firm having trouble hiring should try.

Anyone moved to Systems Evolved Inc (SEI)? I took the interview basically for practice but they made a convincing case, comp was better than expected, and model of only hiring experienced staff is appealing. Glassdoor has great reviews… so what’s wrong with them?

I have a company where I applied to a Senior Accountant role (3-4 weeks ago). I didn't hear back at all. But they just dropped a staff accountant role. I like the company and what they are doing.

Would it be uncouth for me to apply for the staff position too? Or is that a no-no? I feel like the cover letter would write itself - I like you enough to take a title cut. It helps they included the salary, and the staff salary is lateral to my current role.
