Hi Fishes, I cleared technical and MCQ round at Accenture. And got a mail stating i have been selected for HR round. Later the same day a hr called and asked me to upload all documents and asked my expected CTC and stuff. Earlier in portal it was showing interviewing , now it shows review or pending and has a message ' we regret to inform that you experience does not align with req, we will contact if anything comes up' , what does this mean. How can they put something like this?

Hahahaha. 9-5 in this industry. Have a fucking laugh will you?! Get a grip. Or go work in a bank.
Are you 9-5ers all on the east coast or something? I'm on the west coast and every company I've ever worked for (in and outside of advertising) is 9-6 with an hour for lunch, which makes an 8 hour day.
It's ridiculous that our hours are as insane as they are. We're not curing cancer we are literally making things people actively try to avoid.
@OP, we don't have set hours and don't get paid differently if we have to work late. An extra 250 hours a year pales in comparison to what most of my coworkers and I do.
Added compensation for an hour? That's cute.
most are 9:30-6. i choose to take that as 10-5.
Is this a joke??😱😂
They're all in media. Of course they know about 9-5 and bitch about working until 6.
This is literally the first time I have ever heard of this. I was always told you stay until the job is done - which is never.
That's not a thing ^
Lol. I usually do 10 to 7. But a few times a week it's 8 to 10. Or 930 to midnight. Or 1030 to 3 if it's the Friday after the holiday party. How do you possibly set concrete hours in our industry?
☝️ second this.
I've worked at one of those. Hilarious. Remind them of the hours next time you are supposed to stay past 6. Also, take a whole hours for lunch
Yeah 9-5 is not a real thing
What the fuck is happening?
^^^ Children?
Yikes - this doesn't feel like a normal thing. In New York it's a rare agency that starts before 9:30 (and I'm in account). The 6 thing is normal, but often not specified... I mean you work until the stuff is done. I'd be annoyed if I HAD to stay until 6.
Well, technically 5 hours per week and at 50 weeks that is an added 250 hours !
We received an email from the resigning CEO about 6 years ago. So many staff have no clue it was ever 9-5.
I've never heard of 5 or 6 being the stopping hour in this industry. 630 the earliest.
9-6 assumes you get an hour break. Take your break, do not work past 6, make sure you get in by 9. It'll change within 3 months
