Anyone know any mobile app development community’s that don’t cost money to join?
Like a slack chat or discord? With other developers in it?

Specifically, I’m trying to figure out how to make in app purchases work on iOS for a sticker app. I have it all coded and ready, but am really struggling with testing and a community to vent to and learn from is really what I crave right now.

I’ve been in contact with the “apple developer support” people and they are helpful but very slow at responding.

IMO email is a great way to track key information & keep conversations on track. Slack should be for small questions or the one off fun channels.

(Male) how to dress up for in-person meeting?

Finally made it to the final panel interview at a company I applied to in December. The hiring manager loves my background and feels I'm the perfect fit for the job. Just need to sit for an hour on zoom in front of 5 executives next Tuesday, and I'm getting nervous. I already sent connection requests to them in LI and no response, I just need to calm myself. I desperately want this job and this company!

Hi, I am super excited I have an upcoming interview with IBM but I am not sure what to expect or how many rounds of interviews they typically go through. Very little information on Glassdoor for non-technical roles. I was sent one Webex link through the interview invite, which is a half hour and there will be 4 participants. I am very excited, nevertheless. Please feel free to chime in if you or anyone you know has interviewed with them and thanks in advance for any insight!

Is there any realistic way where tipping in the US goes away and we start to be like other countries (e.g. Europe/Asia)? Raise the price of the food, pay servers a fair wage, no tips? Just a dream 😅

I'm guessing no because businesses will fight hard against this (customers subsidize wages) and certain servers benefit from tipping as well.

Only other thing I can think of is if everyone collectively decides not to ever tip again and it forces business to change. Won't happen though.
