Does anyone have ideas for employee appreciation day? We have employees in US, Mexico and Canada

Ladies & Gentlemen, with one month left in Q2, some will fall short of our numbers. Others will hit them. I can’t speak for all of us here, however, I can speak for myself. That being said, I will NOT be one that comes up short of my number. Now, this leads me to you all, to present a question. If you have to prospect, if you’re looking for new business, is it worth $1500 to put 95% of your prospecting process on autopilot? If so, let’s chat.

How long does it take to get over ptsd from being in a toxic micromanaging environment? I was a top biller and top manager at a large staffing company for five years and was treated like a child. Currently, I have an employee who is struggling. Missing deadlines, making false promises to clients etc. Recently, I sat in one of his development sessions with his manager, and I was shocked at how disengaged he was and how junior he actually vs what we pay him. After some further investigation, we are afraid he lied on his resume and how his experience. How do you go about a situation such as this? This is a first for me.

If someone sets up an investment account, intending to be for a minor (ex. as a gift when a baby is born), and the minor is listed on the account, is there anything stopping the person who set it up from moving those funds out of the account and into their own account? I’m not sure the legalese and whether this is a custodial account, I just know it’s an account open at ComputerShare, and they’ve only been the agent for a few years (not dating back to initial purchase). I am/was the minor.

Been speaking to a girl in the UK for a few years. Both have really clicked, are best friends who love each other, not madly in love, though she'd move to the US in a couple of years. I know in my heart she'll always miss her large family, her mother, and especially helping her parents with her handicapped brother. Are we both better off finding someone locally? Will she resent me when times are tough, when only my parents have access to our kids, or only visiting family for 3 wks/yr?

HR professionals- are you requiring a negative test before any employees return to work after COVID? Some had very mild symptoms and one was asymptomatic. I’ve read not to push for a Dr.’s note and some people can still be positive yet not contagious. Right now I’m following the cdc guidelines of 10 days from first symptom, fever free for 24 hrs and improvement of symptoms.

Should I buy a house? I am single female, living alone with a dog. I have a fully paid condo. I just pay tax and HOA plus utilities. Housing cost is about 800, no car payment, no other loans also, so I have a good saving that is enough to downplay a 2000 sqf house in my town. Right now with the WFH situation, I really want to buy a house, so that my dog has yard to play. But I will live alone in that house and will not have much saving with the mortgage payment. Is it good idea to buy a house?
