I was irresponsible in my early 20s and have been working to repair credit. I don’t have a credit card with more than a $500 limit. How do I approach this/ being approved for company card with my boss? I’m so embarrassed. Please no shame
I need help immediately! So I just got an offer from Gartner, but I am also interviewing with Google, Microsoft, and Tik Tok.
I am prepping for a final loop at Microsoft but told Gartner I have an offer to make negotiations more in my favor.
Is it bad to accept an offer from Gartner then finish the interviews at another company higher on my list and accept the other offers(Google/Microsoft) instead?
& Can I push for my compensation without presenting the other offers?

Does your company offer an insurance payout to employees who opt out of your insurance plan and if so how much? We do, however we think it’s too low of an offering and would like to increase it. We want it to be logical from a financial standpoint.

Does anyone have any advice?

Getting sick of The US but haven’t been back home for 20 years. Where are the best places in Lagos to live if you had means and wanted to settle back? Im hearing about Banana Island, but not familiar.
Graduated with below average grades & this for sure closes a lot of doors - what can I do? Networking is one of course; and I can emphasise the various deals I’ve worked on. Doing a masters is one as well but the barriers of entry to the good schools is high (good grades are needed in the first place) - they also seem to require references from law professors which is next to impossible for me. I’m a late bloomer and am a junior assoc doing well in corporate practice. Just feeling dejected.
Hi All, I need some career guidance.

So I just landed my first job as a genuine Project Manager. I’m curious, is it worth it to go and get a PMP, or even a Scrum/Product Owner cert? What kind of salary leverage have you seen with it? For instance, my current salary without the certification is $65,000 USD and that’s in the Chicagoland Area, but the company is out of Iowa.
I guess I messed up today. I didn't know I did though. I'm learning. I don't know what I'm not told.
I was offered partnership w/ equity at a small firm (15 attorneys, half are PI). Midsize market, not in a large city. I have 10 years of experience.
Pre-Partnership total comp was approx., $200,000 plus health insurance fully paid and 401k profit share contributions.
Partnership: salary went up by $50k w/ higher bonus potential. End of year fees are usually $8-900k/year. Half I originate, half I don’t. This year is high: already at $600k.
What do you think about compensation?
