This individual has a doctorate in business with a focus in HR, her SPHR, Federal, and private sector experience at the singer level, and has a fabulous personality. I’m curious is anyone else having difficulties play some candidates like this? At this point I’m starting to think it’s racial or her sex based of the lack of interest in this candidate. I am working in a small scale service company drawing 18 LPA with YOE 6. Should I take advantage of this current market scenario and look for higher CTC? My long term goal is to go to product based company. How would you go about asking a potential employer about working hour expectations, like being on-call or working 8+ hours a day? I don't mind working extra here and there, but if 50+ hours are required I plan on asking for more compensation. I plan on getting this in writing should I get an offer.

I’m a former educator that has transitioned to working for a SaaS company. I have been hired under one role but have been managing projects in design UX/UI, content management (auditing and process development), and governance (currently working on a bot project). I certified as a scrum master but I’m having a hard time finding a Scrum position. In transparency I have been in the field about 2 years. Any and all suggestions are welcome and encouraged.
