Seeking advice: I am a young sales consultant and sales engineer working for a tech startup company. I have 6 years of sales experience. And I have been helping run my family business for the past 10 years. I was intially interviewed for a senior account executive position at a $70k offer. Instead they told me I needed more training and hired me as a Junior account executive at a $50k salary + commission. Today is my 6th month mark and I have done very well. Should I stay at a company I know I like culture-wise when my manager said they will try to promote me, but with no guarantee. Or should I take a job offer I was given with a nice raise, but is in consulting at Slalom. I have not worked in consulting before. There is no travel with Slalom, but the idea of being the new person all the time isn’t too appealing. Less pay and known culture, or more pay unknown job satisfaction?

Hello, I am going crazy. I am supposed to close on a house on Tuesday. The buyer did not perform an inspection and the lender did not order an appraisal. The lawyer says that everything is good on her hand but I am not sure if she is the deciding factor here. Can a home close without a physical appraisal ? I don’t have a closing time yet, just the date. My realtor reached to the lender and have no heard back.
