Any POC attorneys who feel they are held to higher standards than their non-minority peers? How have you navigated that and not let it get you down that you have to work harder to be taken seriously?
Anyone else really over seeing these JDs fussing about the online bar exam? I mean, it's delayed (extra time is extra time...the rest of us had until the end of July), plus it's online. I remember the pure fear I had walking into the testing location. At least there is some solace in knowing you're in your own space. Thoughts?
How do you communicate with employees who don't want to wear masks? Unbelievable to me people still have issues grasping this need.
I’ve seen podcasts on successful practice, legal tech, leaving law for other careers, other timely topics, but none dedicated to authentic convos re how hard it is to be human in this field...(cont’d)
Hey. For people who’ve moved laterally, how did you deal with the request for references from your current employer?

Would you all consider the people you work with friends? Or it strictly just professional. Have a hard time navigating this and how much I should reveal about myself to others
I find changing into my gym cloths and walking into the hotel gym, even if I don’t work out, helps motivate me to start working out. It may not be that day, or the hardest workout, but it gets.....
How do you all save for a down payment? Graduated last year. No debt. 1 month from having my emergency fund. Not contributing to 401k now but will contribute 6% in a month.
Is Trump’s Republican base turning on one of the last few institutions they held sacrosanct - the military? Especially with the pressure of John Bolton’s revelations? Saw these kinds of meme circulating on a right wing FB group. Not so long ago, content like this in those groups would be heresy.
PwCers with the firm 401k - I don't know how I should allocate my funds. For example the index funds - which year 2015-2060? What about tier 2 or tier 3 options? Help please!
Fellow Deloitte GPS 🐠 , a little help here: noticed positions in 1.Process Improvement/operations & 2.PMO Operations. What’s the difference? If I am interested in BPMS type work what should I 👀 for?
Still haven't figured out why some (a lot?) of people trade in their vehicle. Sold my vehicle for $8,700 to private party when two dealerships offered $5k & $4.5k. This was the fourth vehicle I've sold to individuals and always got far above what dealerships have offered.
With everything going on and a recent layoff, I’ve really been reevaluating my life. Is it dumb to leave all $ and perks behind for more fulfillment and passion. I’m looking for a new job but... cont.
Anyone familiar with Eversana? Reputable? Looks like roll up of small life sciences practices. Recruiter reached out about Senior Consultant role there so want to get independent perspective/opinion.
Best online source to improve communication/presentation skills? I see a ton for interview prep, but not many for on the job practice.
Moms, I think I’ve hit the point where I want to step away from client work for more internal. However, I’m not sure how to approach this with one of my main sponsors/ mentors
