Same 🥺 so lonely but at least we know we’re not alone in this feeling..
Not alone but alone 😭😭😭
Same here.
A couple thoughts:
1. Limit caffeine intake.
2. Reduce social media viewing esp before bed.
3. Exercise—break a sweat. It’s good for you and it releases endorphins, which can elevate your mood.
4. Speak with someone—a friend, a therapist, a member of the Clergy—someone who will listen.
5. I’ve been using a device called the Fisher Wallace stimulator. It’s helped a lot with my depression. IMO it has helped the most.
Hope this helps.
Same here. I’ve been wanting to find an online support group of sorts. Maybe meet once a week? I imagine it would help to connect with others around the country who are going through this time alone, which is just adding another layer to the trauma

First thing to do is have a chat with your MD. They can refer you to a mental health practitioner for a consultation. Just taking that first step will make you feel better through the discussions. Treat it like you would a physical ailment, it’s all part of wellness.
I have been struggling with this for a long time on and off. Lately I’ve been feeling better so I am going to give advice, at least some tips that have helped me -
I’m regulating screen time and news time and filled it with reading or writing. Or just taking a walk.
Therapy lamp. It helps me wake up 💡 in these literally dark times.
Reach out to a friend, tell them you’re thinking about them. Or, write to them (in my case I wrote postcards because I live abroad).
Call a friend, just to catch up. No video required.
Go outside. Personally I’m a cyclist so I do that, but perhaps you just take a walk or a run to somewhere that will calm your mind.
These may only help temporarily so just like others suggested please speak to a professional if you don’t think you can do any of the above or feel just... a lot worse. Virtual hugs to you.
Thank you💛
I need to regulate my screen time, been glued to it. Although feel super unproductive.
Got laid off in June and have had very little moral support or people to talk to. Also living alone and no one in Manhattan seems to be available. Unfortunately that means no healthcare to talk to a professional.Cousins, uncles, aunts etc have not been supportive.
I’m really feeling it tonight.
May also be losing someone I love as they may have to move back abroad as their situation has changed. I’m trying to salvage that.
Also had several deaths in the last 5 years so it’s compounded.
I have been cycling and walking a lot and it helps in the moment and I’m searching for ways to extend that feeling after.
