7+YOE with JPMorgan Chase just received an offer for Citi Citi at 145k for a VP position in Irving, TX. My goal was 160k but I lowballed myself when the recruiter first asked my salary expectations and I said 145k which they gave. Can I negotiate for a higher base? Or should I turn down and wait for another opportunity. I have other interviews with citi as a VP and SVP.

Got offered 68k after 2 years as a contractor (62.5k) doing project management/business admin in a tech department at a Fortune 500 bank. I have an A.S degree and working on my bachelor’s/masters may 2024. I negotiated to 84k NYC. I have seen interns get offered 38 per hour (79k) for internship positions with a similar role.

Thoughts? Should I go higher? I do my job well that’s why they decided to keep me as a contractor after my internship.
