AA Exec Plat here. Just flew Delta and they are so so good. Great covid related communication, fully sanitised aircraft, back to front boarding, handed each passenger a wipe upon boarding and offered more later. Flight hasn't even started yet and I'm floored. Their LAX lounge was also open and perfectly planned for the pandemic.

I've held the same opinion of Delta but never been an elite with them, only United and American. Delta does it right in a lot more ways than the other two.

The free love in the Delta Club was incredible (pre-COVID)

Agree - always liked them better. Just wish they had the options out of O’Hare...

When I was based out of ORD I flew DL almost exclusively. Better to connect with them than take a nonstop on UA or AA.

I’m obsessed with Delta

Delta is streets ahead of all other US airlines, though Alaska is decent.

Only time I’ve flown delta, my paid F seat didn’t recline.

DL won my business after AA canceled a trip due to zero pilots in 2013. They weren’t providing any help and I had to fight to get them to inter line me. Knowing how they handled that situation, I swore I would never fly them again. I haven’t flown during covid, but I can’t imagine AA handling it well.

That’s been my united experience for months though still let GS and 1K board before the back to front garbage

I think the same thing (coming from another AA Exec Plat)

It's not like I was Exec Platinum on AA by choice. They flew when and where I needed to fly. American Airlines wasn't the greatest.

Just flew United they had a robot come down the isle and shine a UV light over us before takeoff. I honestly don’t see the point of masks in flight though as soon as food is served everyone removes them and same for drinks etc. They did police if someone was finished to put them back on but most people just ate slowly to drag their food out the whole flight.

What airlines did you travel using Delta sky miles point while traveling to INDIA? How many miles needed?

Advice needed: I’ve been in a long distance relationship for a while. Things are generally going well but when it comes to traveling to see each other I’m always the one making more of the effort to go to him. I understand his job isn’t as flexible but even when it was during Covid he had an excuse and I would be the one going to see him and spending weeks leaving behind my day to day to spend time with him. Am I wrong for wanting more effort and flexibility on his end?

Moms, both husband and I are nearing the end of our parental leave. We live in a two bedroom in NYC. We are thinking of hiring a nanny. We can move the changing table and pack n play in the living room, and the nanny and the baby can hang in the living room. Does this sound like a good plan?

After you’ve connected with a consultant on LinkedIn what’s the best practice for asking someone to give you a practice case? To balance respect someone’s time vs coming off as transactional.
