Sounds like jones isn’t letting advisors use CFP designation

No, just an article I was reading about CFP and jones

Huh??!!?? Don’t think so...

No

Have any of you read the new ethics rules? I really think that is what the board is going after. You know they are lobbying for the fiduciary rule and wanting to become the regulated body for that rule. Can’t have your 7 then..

I don’t think the CFP Board would agree to anything that would alienate advisors in the broker/dealer community who all have 7’s.

I'm a Microsoft Dynamics and C# Developer at a Big 4 consulting firm. But... working with Dynamics for the last 5 or 6 years is starting to wear on me. The salary is great because there is a shortage of qualified Dynamics developers, but I want to do something else, even if that's just back to being a run of the mill C# Developer. Maybe this is more of a rant or I'm letting off steam, but has anybody on here ever essentially gone from a specialized type of roll to more general role?
