Hello, I'm looking at a position within Paypal. My question, what is the work life balance, expectation for office (hybrid/remote/other) and is the pay comparable to other companies? Reviewing Director and Senior Director roles on the business side. I have over 15 years experience with multiple degrees. TIA!

If you hate, and I mean really hate, your current job - Go for the new opportunity. If they are saying the offer is non negotiable, ask for perks/reimbursement or some sort of joining bonus to tide you over till next appraisal.
If you don't like your current job but think you can bear it for another 6 months (assuming you don't have any other in process offers), speak to the new HR and tell them that this CTC doesn't work for you because there is a 0% hike + you will lose on 1 appraisal year and hence decent bonus and hike. Highlight your candidature again (I bring ABC experience, you need ABC personnel etc.) Tell them you need to offer at least a 20% hike. If they walk away after that, you need to accept it and keep looking for another role.
Best of luck, no matter what you choose!
If u hate your current work, what's the point of staying back?
Yea my patience has definitely been exhausted and so am I. Was also thinking the same that better move out before my negative energy affects my reputation. Thanks for the advise
Do you hate your work enough to move to a different role at the same pay? If the ecom role excites you, it is probably worth taking it up. You can probably switch again in two years at a decent hike.
I would actually but was thinking about the opportunity costs such as possible higher pay if counter offer or other better opportunities
If they said that the salary is non negotiable, then it's not negotiable and there won't be a counter offer
